The Story of “Cape May Lighthouse at Sunrise”
I wanted to take a picture of New Jersey’s Cape May Lighthouse in the morning sun. But when I looked at the forecast, it said there would be rain. So I waited for days until I saw a forecast that said it wouldn’t rain during sunrise.
I went out on a chilly Saturday morning in December. It was cloudy but there was a break in the clouds that could let the sunlight in. Even though my hands were cold from the freezing temperatures, I set up my tripod and waited.
It took a long time for the sun to come up and get out from from behind the clouds but finally I got my photo!
